This report was prepared to assess the supply and demand for industrial land in the towns of Yarram, Maffra and Stratford and make recommendations relating to future industrial land requirements.

The Yarram, Maffra and Stratford Industrial Land Strategy was adopted by Council on 5 July 2011. The Strategy provides residents and businesses with a clear indication of Council’s attitudes and aspirations for future industrial development within these towns.

Through the Strategy, Council aims to enhance the ability of the three towns to attract industries and meet demand for industrial growth. The Yarram, Maffra and Stratford Industrial Land Strategy is now being implemented through Planning Scheme Amendment C74 which was approved by the Minister for Planning on 10 April 2014.
