Kilmany Landfill accepts general waste, inert waste and construction and demolition waste for commercial customers.

At Kilmany Landfill, we prioritise the health of the local community by managing air quality, producing renewable energy, and ensuring healthy water quality. Our efforts include daily monitoring and visual inspections of the landfill area to remove litter and reduce odour impact.

Daily inspections of the site, including the boundaries and landfill surface, help us quickly identify and address any issues. To prevent contamination of the local water supply, we manage the leachate produced from decomposing organic matter by collecting in a series of evaporation lagoons.
