Wellington Shire Council has launched an exciting new app that makes it easier than ever for locals and visitors to discover the wonders our incredible region has to offer.

Free to download now through Google Play and Apple App Store, The Middle of Everywhere app is your go-to guide to the region’s best attractions, exciting events and amazing places to eat and drink.

“The Middle of Everywhere app is a fantastic way to get locals and visitors excited about our region,” said Mayor Cr Garry Stephens.

“It’s more important than ever to support local business and draw visitors here so they can experience everything we have to offer. This app is the perfect all-in-one guide for Wellington and I am excited for our region to bounce back stronger than ever with the help of this innovative technology,” he said.

The new app connects people to local businesses and attractions at the touch of a button. Featuring great retail, dining, professional services, accommodation and attractions in the region.

The app also details all the fantastic events that are taking place in the region and keeps users up to date with local news. Allowing users to plan a trip with interactive maps, itineraries and information on public transport, users are able to uncover hidden gems, local hints and inspiration to plan a weekend or holiday.

Locals and visitors are also encouraged to keep their eyes peeled for exclusive offers, competitions and other exciting initiatives available on the app over the coming months.
