Notice of the preparation of an Amendment to the Wellington Planning Scheme and Notice of an Application for Planning Permit given under section 96Cof the Planning and Environment Act
The Wellington Shire Council has prepared Amendment C115 to the Wellington Planning Scheme and a concurrent Application for Planning Permit P542/2021 (for residential subdivision of the land) has been made by the NBA Group Pty Ltd.
The land affected by the Amendment and by the Application is located at the western edge of the existing Glenhaven Estate in North Sale, and is specifically known as Crown Allotment
114B Section 1 Parish of Sale (see map below). The site is also identified as Area 11 in the North Sale Development Plan (2018).
The Amendment proposes to rezone the land from the Farming Zone to the General Residential Zone to facilitate future residential development in accordance with the North Sale Development Plan.
The Application is for a permit to subdivide the land into 82 lots in stages.
The applicant for the permit is NBA Group Pty Ltd.

Any person who may be affected by the amendment or by the granting of the planning permit may make a submission to the planning authority (Wellington Shire Council) about the Amendment and permit application. Submissions must be made in writing giving the submitter’s name and contact address, clearly stating the grounds on which the amendment and planning permit application is supported or opposed and indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to make.
Name and contact details of submitters are required for Council to consider submissions and to notify such persons of the opportunity to attend Council meetings and any public hearing held to consider submissions. The planning authority must make a copy of every submission available for any person to inspect free of charge for two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses.
