Organising an event in Wellington Shire should now be made easier since the revamp of Wellington Shire Council’s Event Guide.

This comprehensive, user-friendly guide aims to assist event organisers with the preparation of their event and offers a clear vision as to what is required when applying for an event permit.

It includes a step-by-step guide for planning your event in Wellington Shire, including information on venue and structures, risk management, health and safety, waste management, marketing and so much more!

Wellington Shire General Manager Development John Websdale says, “Holding a successful and safe event requires careful planning. This event guide can assist event organisers on how to plan and sufficiently run their event and create a higher success rate overall.”

Council encourages event organisers to read through the guide prior to organising their event. This will assist to ensure the best preparation for an event as possible.
