Cr Tatterson was born and raised on a dairy farm in Kilmany before his family moved to Stratford to operate the Stratford Newsagency. His family involvement in farming and the newsagency business gave him a strong appreciation of the challenges faced by our farming community and business operators.

Cr Tatterson is married to Sue and has two adult children Jessica and Jack who both live locally with their own families. Cr Tatterson has had a strong community connection with a lifelong involvement in local community, sport as well as a 40-year career working in local government.

Cr Tatterson is committed to advocating for Council support to ensure facilities and infrastructure are inclusive, affordable, and fun for all residents young and old, so they remain engaged in their community.

Cr Tatterson strongly supports continued Council investment in infrastructure including community facilities, infrastructure including roads, town entries, parks, and footpaths.
