Proposed renaming of roads under the provisions of the Geographic Place Names Act 1998

Due to the closure of a section of Desailly Street, Sale to vehicular traffic, it is proposed that the following sections of road be renamed as one road, Grand Canal Drive.

• The section of Park Street between Foster Street and Canal Road.
• The entire section of Canal Road.
• The section of Desailly Street between Canal Road and McMillan Street.
• The section of McMillan Street between Desailly Street and Raymond Street.

Public comment on the proposed renaming is invited and may be made in writing to: Place Names Committee, Wellington Shire Council, PO Box 506, Sale VIC 3850 or via email to PlaceNames@wellington.vic.gov.au.

Submissions will be accepted no later than 30 January 2018.
