Proposal to Name Unnamed Road (Marriott)

Proposed naming of road under the provisions of the Geographic Place Names Act 1998 Wellington Shire Council is required to name the unnamed road off Bengworden Road, Perry Bridge.

The proposed name Marriott Lane commemorates Charles Edward Marriott from the Perry Bridge/ Fernbank area, who was killed in action at the age of 21 whilst serving in France during the First World War.

Public comment on the proposed naming is invited and may be made in writing to:
