Join the Wellington Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (WAIAG)

Are you a person with a disability living or working in Wellington Shire?

Are you a carer or family member of a person who is living with a disability?

Would you like to contribute to making Wellington Shire Council facilities as accessible and inclusive as possible?

If so, the Wellington Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (WAIAG) may be for you.

WAIAG is a Council Advisory Group that provides advice and feedback to help make Council facilities as accessible as possible, and remove barriers experienced by people living with or caring for someone with a disability.

WAIAG:

  • Meets four times a year
  • Conducts walk-through audits of Council buildings
  • Provides representation on Council steering groups for major projects

WAIAG is welcoming new members now.
