Wellington Shire Council will be undertaking weekend and night works within the Sale Mall area.

The works will include cleaning and sealing of the coloured concrete within the Mall area. Decorative paving treatments require cleaning and sealing at regular intervals to retain and enhance the colour of the concrete paving.

These works will be undertaken on Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons and evenings and Sundays to avoid impact on trade within the area.

Works are planned to commence on Friday 16 March 2018 and will be conducted over several consecutive weekends. As a result of the concrete sealing works, odours may be present for a short time after completion of each application.

To minimise the impact of odours, Council’s contractors will aim to schedule works to ensure areas close to shops have the maximum amount of curing time before the next trading day.
