Wellington Shire Council has received authorisation from the Minister of Planning to prepare an amendment to the Wellington Planning Scheme in relation to the proposed new Gippsland Water sewerage pump station in Sale.

The development of a new sewerage pump station will provide essential infrastructure to service sustainable residential and industrial growth in and around Sale for the next 50 years.

Council is seeking community feedback on the Amendment. Feedback can be provided online at www.wellington.vic.gov.au/AmendmentC97 or through a written submission. Written submissions should be sent to, Strategic Planning Team, Wellington Shire Council, PO Box 506, SALE, VIC 3850.

Feedback will be received from Thursday 10 August 2017 until 5pm Monday 11 September 2017. Late submissions may not be accepted.

Gippsland Water will continue to work with the community, through a community and stakeholder consultation process, to ensure the new facility complements the local amenity.
