Enjoy a morning discussion with former local and author, Shane Tindal following the release of her latest novel Just Like a Son at the Port of Sale.
Shane began writing the novel in 1995 when she was living in Sale. She drew inspiration from an aerobatic team which operated in the 1960’s at the local military air force base.
The story reveals the journey of eager 18-year-old boy and star cadet, Freddy who faces many challenges on his journey through the air force and when disaster strikes, resurfacing the past.
Shane will speak about her book in the Wellington Room at the Port of Sale at 10am on Wednesday, 30 October.
Following the author talk, Shane will have copies of her book to purchase and autograph.
