Junior soccer, hockey and netball bounce back

Junior soccer, hockey and netball bounce back
Issued:
October 9, 2020

Junior team sport is back for Term 4, giving kids a long-awaited chance to get back on the court and pitch to play their favourite sports with friends.

Gippsland Regional Sports Complex is taking registrations now for three outdoor sports: mixed hockey, mixed netball, and new 7 x 7 soccer.

GRSC’s Term 4 junior social sports competitions are fun, cater to a range of abilities, and will be run in accordance with COVID-19 Stage 3 roadmap to re-opening guidelines.

That means there are a few more rules to follow, including coming prepared to play, bringing your own equipment and a filled water bottle. Parents and over 14-year-olds are reminded to wear a face mask. Sanitiser will be provided.

Registrations, which can be made prior to payment, close Thursday 15 October. Payments can be made from Monday 12 October to Thursday 15 October between midday and 5pm at GRSC.

Programs kick off Monday 19 October and will continue to Monday 7 December.

Indoor facilities will remain closed until further notice.

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, Term 4 of the Tiny Stars program will not be going ahead this year.
