Wellington Shire Council is providing free training in social media promotion for community groups in March.

As part of the Community Collaborations Masterclass series, the Building Community with Social Media class is available for unpaid volunteers or members of community groups who want to improve their group’s social media presence.

The interactive session will provide a basic overview of the most popular social media platforms used in Australia and insights on the best way they can be used effectively.

If you’re an unpaid volunteer of a community group in Wellington and looking for tips to get started or boost the social media presence of your group, this free workshop is for you!

The Building Community with Social Media masterclass will be held in the Wellington Centre at Port of Sale (Carang Carang Room), Wednesday 25 March from 6pm.

Places are strictly limited to two people per community group.
