Wellington Shire Council will extend the operating hours of Dargo Transfer Station during the Christmas holiday period.
With an influx of visitors to Dargo during this time, the town frequently experiences issues regarding the disposal of waste. This is due to extra people visiting the area and holiday homeowners using the Christmas period to conduct renovations or clean-ups.
Council urges all those residing in Dargo during the summer to abide by the law when it comes to waste disposal. It is never OK to dump rubbish.
