Following a complaint from a local resident regarding the Inside Out Café-Bar-Restaurant at 35 Lyons Street in Rosedale, Wellington Shire Council’s Environmental Health Department staff undertook an inspection at the premises on Saturday 4 February 2017.

Wellington Shire Council General Manager John Websdale said: “It is very important that people report any potential issues concerning food outlets so that Council can undertake the necessary inspections and take appropriate action.”

Upon completion of the inspection, the premises was found to be in an unsanitary condition and an immediate order to close the restaurant was issued under the Victorian Food Act 1984.

The Inside Out Café-Bar-Restaurant is prohibited from operating the premises as a food business in relation to the preparation and sale of food until specific items have been complied with to the satisfaction of an authorised Council Environmental Health officer.
