Coongulla reminder about survey

Coongulla residents are reminded to return their surveys regarding the Coongulla Street Construction Scheme to Council by 14 March.

Coongulla residents are reminded to return their surveys regarding the Coongulla Street Construction Scheme to Council by 14 March 2020.

An information session was held in Coongulla in November last year, detailing the proposal which would include the construction and sealing of all the gravel roads within the township.

Driveway access would be provided to each property along with kerb and channelling at intersections and complementary drainage works.

Following the information session, Council sent out a survey to all property owners asking them to express their support or opposition to the proposal.

A minimum of 60% of properties are required to support the proposal for the scheme to proceed.

Whether residents support or oppose the proposed street scheme, they are asked to respond to the survey so that Council can make an accurate determination.

If residents have any further questions about the proposal, they are welcome to contact infrastructure planner Tilo Junge on 5142 3217.
