Click and Collect for Wellington libraries to resume

Issued:
May 28, 2021

Wellington Shire Council is offering a Click and Collect service for its library branches during the Covid-19 circuit breaker lockdown.

The service allows Wellington library members to access books and resources during the lockdown, while library branches are closed to the public.

In addition to Click and Collect, there are also many resources available online including audiobooks, emagazines, Story Box for children, Studiosity online tutoring, Ancestry library and many more.

But, for those who prefer to have something physical in their hands, accessing the library Click and Collect service is simple.

Use the online catalogue and select items to borrow by placing them on ‘hold’ using your library card. For those not familiar with the online catalogue, library staff are available to take requests over the phone.

Call your local library branch and organise a time to collect. Please ensure masks are worn when attending the library to collect items. Returns can be made by using the chutes at each branch.

For assistance, call Council’s library head office on 5142 3146.
