Wellington Shire Council's vision is for happy people, healthy environment and thriving communities.
Wellington Shire Council have completed works on a $30,000 refurbishment to the Boisdale Playground.
The playground was identified as needing an upgrade as part of Council’s playground renewal program.
Earlier this year, community members were invited to provide feedback on the playground’s concept design. They requested the inclusion of musical instruments and a natural themed play area. The playground also includes a carving of a horse which is in keeping with the history of Boisdale, with the horse drawn carts and stables in town.
Wellington Shire Council General Manager Built and Natural Environment Chris Hastie says: “Council is delighted to have completed these works and create a play area that meets the needs of the local community. The upgrades have made this a more fun and enjoyable space for families.”
