Archibald Prize Open Now

Issued:
October 8, 2021

After months of anticipation, the Archibald Prize 2021 has opened at the Gippsland Art Gallery in Sale and we can't wait to welcome locals and visitors through the doors over the next 45 days.

Now is the perfect time to get your ticket to the Archibald Prize exhibition and start planning other activities while you're visiting the Port of Sale precinct.

The exhibition features 52 portraits on display including the winning entry, Peter Wegner's painting of fellow artist Guy Warren, as well as the Packing Room Prize winner, Kathrin Longhurst's portrait of beloved singer Kate Ceberano.

Tickets to the Archibald Prize 2021 at Gippsland Art Gallery are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors, $11 for concession card holders and students, and $9 for children 5-17.

Visit archibaldprizegippsland.com.au for tickets and more information about what's on during the Archibald Prize.

The Archibald Prize 2021 exhibition is now open in Gallery 2 of the Gippsland Art Gallery.
