The Maffra Recreation Reserve is home to the Maffra Football and Netball Club, the 3 day annual Maffra Show, the 3 day annual dog show, the 2 day American Historical Society Truck Show, the Gippsland Riviera Poultry Club, the EVPHC (Eastern Victorian Pleasure Harness Group), the Stratford Pony Club, the Maffra Municipal Band, the McMillan Rockhounds (gem club), Maffra CWA and Maffra Women’s Probus. The reserve also provides storage space for the Maffra Rotary Club, the Maffra Lions Club and the Maffra Dramatic Society and is used when needed by the Air Ambulance.
