Wellington Shire Council herby gives notice of its intention to consider a proposal to sell the unused roads of approximately 9,100 sq.m identified as part of Station Street and Orr Street, Alberton to the abutting property owner at 56 Turnbull Steet, Alberton.

The community is invited to comment on this proposal. The proposal is shown on the diagram below.

If you wish to make a submission regarding this proposal, you may do so in writing addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Wellington Shire Council, PO Box 506, Sale 3853.  Your submission should be received by 5.00pm on Friday 14 April 2023.

Any person making a submission may request that he or she be heard in support of any written submissions lodged before the Council or a Committee of the Council convened for that purpose.

All submissions will be considered public documents unless specified otherwise by the submitter.  In the event that no submissions are received objecting to the proposal the land will be sold to the adjoining property owner by private treaty.
