Wellington Shire Council herby gives notice of its intention under section 204(1) of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act) that it proposes to declare the whole of the land adjoining Nelson Street in Rosedale being 20.12m wide and 90.53m long, shown hatched on the plan below, to be a Public Highway.

The community is invited to comment on the proposal.

If you wish to make a submission regarding this proposal, you may do so in writing addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Wellington Shire Council, PO Box 506, Sale 3853. Your submission should be received by 5.00pm on Friday 24th of November 2023.

Any person making a submission may request that he or she be heard in support of any written submissions lodged before the Council or a Committee of the Council convened for that purpose.

All submissions will be considered public documents unless specified otherwise by the submitter. All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
