Draft Council Budget 2024/25

Wellington Shire Council has prepared a draft Budget for the financial year commencing on 1 July 2024 and ending 30 June 2025 and is seeking written submissions.

The draft 2024/25 Budget is available via the link below from Wednesday 17 April to Monday 6 May 2024.

Budget Submission Process

We value your input on matters that are important to you. This submission process is designed to gather your feedback on the Draft Budget in an easy and convenient format. Submissions are open until Monday 6 May 2024.

There are three options available for submissions:

  • Hardcopy: Your submission should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Wellington Shire Council, 18 Desailly Street (PO BOX 506), Sale VIC 3850 and marked as DRAFT BUDGET SUBMISSION.
  • Online: Complete the online submission form on the Your Wellington Your Say website.
  • In Person: Attend the Special Council Meeting on Thursday 16 May 2024 from 5pm at the Council Chambers, Port of Sale (Wellington Centre) 70 Foster Street, Sale.

The draft 2024/25 Budget will be available on Council’s website via Your Wellington Your Say from Wednesday 17 April to Monday 6 May 2024.

Any person wishing to be heard in support of their submission is welcome to attend the Special Council Meeting on Thursday 16 May 2024 at 5pm in the Council Chambers at the Wellington Centre, 70 Foster Street, Sale.

After consideration of submissions, Council will consider the adoption of the 2024/25 Budget at a Council Meeting on Tuesday 4 June 2024 at 5pm.
