Senior driver and pedestrian safety session in Heyfield

The next free Senior Driver and Pedestrian Safety Information Session is being held in Heyfield on Wednesday 8 October. Designed for senior road users, it will cover a range of topics including licence retesting, changing road rules, and rights and responsibilities as a pedestrian.

Pet owners advised to consider heartworm prevention

Our annual mosquito control program will commence in November, using Mosquito Monitors to patrol the shire in an effort to reduce the number of disease-carrying mosquitoes. This includes those mozzies carrying heartworm, which has been reported in Wellington since January this year.
