Loch Sport resident Cr Alan Hall was today elected the new Mayor of Wellington Shire Council, with Cr Malcolm Hole elected Deputy Mayor.

 

Port of Sale Temporary Closure (Sunday 18 November, 2018)

The Port of Sale facility which includes the Sale Library, Gippsland Art Gallery, Visitor Information Centre and Dock 70 Café (along with The Wedge Performing Arts Centre and Portside Food + Wine) will be closed for business on Sunday, 18 November 2018 due to an AusNet Services power outage. All buildings will reopen Monday, 19 November.

New home for local hockey opens in Sale today

A new multi-use synthetic hockey pitch and pavilion was officially opened at the Gippsland Regional Sports Complex (GRSC) today.

 

Global Goal Youth Forum

The Global Goals Youth Forum is a full-day design sprint for year 9-11 students, to deepen their understanding of global issues and develop their global competencies. Students are challenged to work collaboratively and design their 'Big Idea' to help achieve the Global Goals by 2030.
