Sale Botanical Gardens Fauna enclosure revamp approved

The fauna enclosure in the Sale Botanical Gardens is to be redeveloped under a concept plan approved at our Council Meeting on 16 August. The proposed ‘Garden for Life’ design concept looks at the myriad ways plants support life and how humanity interacts with them.

In accordance with section 94(4) of the Local Government Act 1989, notice is hereby given that it is intended that at the Ordinary Meeting of Wellington Shire Council scheduled for Tuesday 6 September 2016, a motion will be put that, if passed, would result in the re-appointment of Mr David Morcom as Council’s Chief Executive Officer without the position being advertised.

Charlies Street Boat Ramp Concept Design

A proposed concept design has been developed for the Charlies Street Boat Ramp in Loch Sport. Council is now seeking your feedback on the proposal for the development of a new boat ramp, replacement of the timber jetties, a layby floating pontoon and increased overflow trailer parking.
