Designs confirmed for old Civic Centre redevelopment at The Port

With the old Port of Sale Civic Centre now a blank canvas, we are delighted to present a first look at the confirmed designs. The redevelopment includes a new Gippsland Art Gallery, Library, Visitor Information Centre, Council Chamber, broad use community spaces, and café.

Application period open for Community Assistance Grants

Not for profit community groups looking to organise community events or work towards community projects can now apply for funding to help them on their way. Applications must demonstrate how the event or project will actively engage the broader, diverse community.

Longford Shared Path open for use

Wellington Shire Council is excited to announce the final stage of the shared path which links Longford to Sale is now ready for use. Residents can now walk or ride the length of path from Longford Public Hall, all the way to the Port of Sale, which is roughly 7 kilometres.
