COVID-19 Resilience and Recovery Plan

Media Release Issued:
Monday, June 22, 2020
Share

Agencies involved in responding to the impacts of COVID-19 are developing a Coronavirus Recovery Plan with the Wellington Shire community. Please read the information below and provide your thoughts and ideas on recovery priorities for the Plan by completing an Online Survey before the end of Friday 31 July 2020. Alternative ways to leave feedback are also listed below.

To understand views about the impacts of COVID-19 locally, community, business and individual feedback is required. Ideas for recovery actions will support communities to successfully deal with the impacts of the pandemic and build community resilience.

While recovery activities are being planned, it is important to understand that positive cases of Coronavirus within our community can change at any time and that until a vaccine is created, response, relief and recovery efforts could be occurring at the same time.

You can play a role in developing the Wellington Coronavirus Recovery Plan by:

  • Completing an Online Survey.
  • Participating in a face-to-face Community Conversation Session (see below)

The online survey will remain open until the end of Friday 31 July 2020. Feedback is anonymous and a prize draw is on offer.
