The Click and Deliver library service is available to deliver books and children's take home packs while library branches are closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please use the Catalogue to place books on hold and library staff will contact you to arrange delivery.

Children's take home packs are available for delivery with book requests to be made via the Catalogue. Please note that take home packs cannot be requested separately using the Catalogue, but will automatically be delivered along with any children's books.

Click and Collect Service

In addition to the Click and Deliver service that is operating while library branches are closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, all branches are now offering Click and Collect so you can choose the service that best suits you.

To utilise the Click and Collect service please place your books on hold using the Catalogue and then contact your preferred library branch to arrange a collection time (during operating hours). Once arranged, you will receive an email, SMS or phone call and a team member will meet you outside the library entrance for collection. Children's take home packs will be available with any collection, please ask for a pack with your initial book request.

Branch locations and operating hours are listed below.

Catalogue

The catalogue enables you to search the entire library collection of the Wellington Shire Library and other Libraries Victoria Consortium libraries online. It allows users to find an item in Libraries across Victoria, place a hold, and have the item sent to your local library branch for collection. It also includes a renewal option.

Borrowing

You can borrow up to 30 items for 6 weeks while our libraries are closed. Up to 30 items can be placed on hold, and items can be renewed once before their due date, by phone during opening hours, or online using your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You cannot renew items on loan and reserved by another member. You can hold items from other branches of our library services or other Libraries Victoria Consortium libraries and they will be delivered to your branch at no cost.

Fees and Charges apply to overdue items, printing, covering and replacement of lost books.

Bookmyne App

The BookMyne™ mobile app for Apple or Android devices makes it quick and easy to access your local library on the go! Search your library’s catalogue, download items, manage your account, and find suggested reading instantly.
