Wellington Shire Council are pleased to offer a Click & Deliver service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The process is detailed below:
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you still have some library books at home that were borrowed before the COVID-19 restrictions came into place, we won’t be charging late fees unless the item is damaged or lost. The books may be returned via the return chutes at your local library.
The catalogue enables you to search the entire library collection of the Wellington Shire Library and other Swift Consortium libraries online. It allows users to find an item in Libraries across Victoria, place a hold, and have the item sent to your local library branch for collection. It also includes a renewal option.
You can borrow up to 30 items for 3 weeks. Up to 30 items can be placed on hold, and items can be renewed once before their due date, in person or by phone during opening hours, or online using your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You cannot renew items on loan and reserved by another member. You can hold items from other branches of our library services or other Swift Consortium libraries and they will be delivered to your branch at no cost.
Fees and Charges apply to overdue items, printing, covering and replacement of lost books.
The BookMyne™ mobile app for Apple or Android devices makes it quick and easy to access your local library on the go! Search your library’s catalogue, download items, manage your account, and find suggested reading instantly.
Please use the Events Calendar to view upcoming events, including author and illustrator signings, workshops and exhibitions.
We are also introducing a new service, Proscribe, to keep you informed of Library happenings.
Please Login with your library card number and setup your Proscribe account at www.proscribe.net. Select the information you want about new releases, adult and children’s programs or special events and how you wish to receive it.
Our libraries are listed below including opening hours. Alternatively, you may contact Wellington Shire Library headquarters on (03) 5142 3146 or email email@example.com for further enquiries.
