Wellington Respiratory Clinic is fully operational, from the rear of Inglis Medical Centre in Sale.
Pre-booked testing is available at the Wellington Respiratory Clinic in Sale at http://ow.ly/hqDo50FzviT.
All patients will be seen in a safe, private and completely confidential clinic with the highest possible infection control standards. Alternatively, tests can be conducted for COVID-19 via local General Practitioners. Patients are encouraged to ring their regular GP for guidance. Patients can book online.
Wellington Shire Council is NOT providing the COVID-19 vaccine. However, the Gippsland Regional Sports Complex will be used by the Gippsland Regional Public Health Unit to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible people.
If you are eligible and want to book in for a COVID-19 vaccine via the Gippsland Regional Public Health Unit, you must call the coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398. Unfortunately, our customer service team cannot book COVID-19 vaccinations for you. These are not part of our community immunisation sessions.

Through Community Activation and Social Isolation (CASI), social, emotional and practical support is available for the residents in need of help during COVID-19. CASI can assist you to keep important connections with your family and friends, and building connection with your local organisations and support networks.
For enquires contact Wellington COVID-19 Relief Line 1300 137 218 (8:30am to 5:00pm - Monday to Friday, except public holidays) or email@example.com. After hours, CASI can be access through the Victorian Coronavirus Hotline by choosing option 3 or 8 when calling 1800 675 398. This hotline is open 24 hours, 7 days.
If you are struggling with stress or finding your mental health condition peaking, and unsure where to turn, trained mental health staff (Psychologists, mental health nurses & occupational therapist) are available to support you at NO COST. Your local HeadtoHelp hub is located at 10 Inglis Street, Sale or contact 1800 595 212 (8:30am to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday, except public holidays).

Wellington Shire Council has launched a Relief Information Line for members of the public who require assistance as a result of the current pandemic. The Wellington Relief Information Line number is 1300 137 218 and is open 9am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. The Line will operate until it is no longer required.

On the advice of the Victorian Chief Health Officer, COVID-19 restrictions in regional Victoria (including Wellington Shire) have eased. The following changes to Council operated services and facilities will occur.
For all facilities listed as open, the wearing of face masks is mandatory, as is signing in with a QR code or manually. Each facility is also subject to density limits, so large crowds cannot gather.
Our Customer Service Centres in Sale and Yarram are OPEN for face-to-face operations.
All library branches are OPEN and density limits must be followed. Regular children's programming will resume at all library branches, except for the Sale library. Programming at the Sale library will resume when COVID-19 restrictions are eased further. Please book for library programming here.

The Gippsland Regional Sports Complex is CLOSED for all sporting activity and social sports are cancelled until COVID-19 restrictions are eased further. More information here.
The Gippsland Regional Sports Complex Covid-19 vaccination clinic, run by the Gippsland Public Health Unit, is OPEN.

Portside Food + Wine and The Dock Espresso bar are OPEN. Portside Food + Wine is open for takeaway only with limited outdoor seating available. The Dock Espresso Bar is open for takeaway and limited indoor dining.
The Gippsland Regional Livestock Exchange is OPEN, under strict Covid Safe restrictions. All genuine buyers must pre-register via phone 0427 868 122 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
