| The provision of accommodation services through premises such as bed and breakfasts, holiday or school camps, hotels/motels, guest houses and boarding houses where five or more people can be accommodated requires registration with Council.
This requirement is under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 and Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009.
Environmental Health Officers routinely inspect these premises for compliance checking on areas such as cleanliness, hygiene and overcrowding.
