| The Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre is essentially a waterfront building, being intrinsically linked to the Port of Sale it joins.
The unique design of the centre has met with industry acclaim and received major architectural awards.
The Entertainment Centre was a joint winner of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Chapter 2004 Awards in the Regional Prize category.
Harmer Architecture and Hyder Consulting managed the design process for the multimillion-dollar centre, which has also received two top building awards from the Master Builders Association of Victoria.
For the construction of the Entertainment Centre, local Master Builder R&J van Poppel Ltd has won two categories of the Master Builder Association of Victoria’s Excellence in Construction Awards; Best Commercial/ Industrial Project Over $3 Million –South, and the MBAV Regional Commercial Builder of the Year - South East.
