| As of 2009, the Council had responsibility for more than 3109 kms of sealed and unsealed roads, 119 concrete bridges, 58 timber bridges, 409 kms of footpaths, an extensive network of underground drainage, two aerodromes, 42 toilet blocks (30 public and 12 community managed), six swimming pools and seven libraries.
There are also 598 hectares of sports fields, parks and streetscapes, including 51 playgrounds,
41 recreation reserves and sports facilities, and some 45 000 street and park trees.
