| The large 240 litre bin with a yellow lid is provided by the Council for household recycling and is collected on a fortnightly basis. Please place the following waste products in your recycling bin, ensuring the products are clean and not contaminated with food,liquid or non recyclable materials.
Garbage and Recycling Collection Boundaries | |
| Steel and Aluminium Cans |
 | Crush them to save space |  | Place lids inside before crushing |  | Include aerosol cans and empty paint cans |

 | No caps or lids |

| Plastic Bottles |
 | Must have a number from 1-7 printed in the recycle triangle |  | Milk |  | Soft drink |  | Cordial |  | Cream |  | Shampoo and conditioner |  | Mouthwash |  | Laundry detergent |  | Surface cleaners |  | Toilet cleaners |  | Hand and body wash |  | Peanut butter |  | Cooking oils, |  | Sauce bottles |  | Garden care containers |

| Cardboard and Paper |

| Please place your recyclables loose in your wheelie bin. Do not put them in plastic bags as these are not recyclable. Random spot audits are conducted of both your recycling and waste bins to find contamination. | |
| Non Recyclable Materials | | The following items are non recyclable and therefore should not be placed in your recycling bin: | |

| If your recycling bin contains non recyclable items a sticker will be placed on the bin advising of the non recyclable material. If the problem is not corrected, the bin will not be collected. | |
