Join the Gippsland Art Gallery in partnership with Craft Victoria for a series of short talks and a panel discussion from 4 experienced makers who have combined their creative practices with small businesses.
These artists will talk about the motivations behind their creativity and how they run their businesses. A representative from Craft Victoria, a gallery and retail outlet in Melbourne with an emphasis on contemporary craft and design, will also speak about the retail aspects of craft and making. They will also give insight into Craft Victoria as an organisation and the ways in which it supports contemporary craftspeople.
With a focus on professional development, this program is also a social networking opportunity to learn and share with other artists and craftspeople.
