Shakespeare's birthday party in the park

Sunday 22 April

Children of all ages are invited to Stratford’s Medieval Apex Park for a Shakespearean birthday bash. Come and support Stratford’s Courthouse Kids as they perform snippets of some of Shakespeare’s most famous plays. Activities will include crafts, a costume pet parade and of course a birthday cake.

Come and celebrate the opening of our 2018 Shakespeare on the River Festival. Enjoy the opening of the 2018 Art Exhibition 'The Tempest', live performances, the announcement of the 2018 Sheila Malady Short Story Competition winners, and the presentation of the 2018 Janice Jones Youth Award.

Come on down to the Youth Fest and join local artists Gavin Roberts, Kaitlyn Francis and Alan Solomon in one-of-a-kind art workshops focusing on designing and working with wood. It's time to showcase and bring out the inner artist in you!

Gippsland Vehicle Collection Swap Meet

Car and motorbike parts, collectibles and garage-enalia will be the order of the day and the site fee is $10. (Including driver) $5 entry fee for buyers. Sellers can set up from 7.00am.

Comedy of Errors

Groundwork Youth Theatre present the classic Shakespearean comedy. Come along to “The Comedy of Errors”. You’ll be treated to hilarious confusion, slapstick humour, cross dressing and the occasional fart joke all set in the Wild West.
