Australia Day Event Funding Grant Application Form
Event organisers have a duty of care under the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 to provide a safe operational environment. Under this legislation, event organisers must ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, that the employees or volunteers working at the event or members of the public attending the event are not exposed to health and safety risks.
13. Applicants must include a current copy of their Liability insurance that will be used to cover the event. Funding will not be processed until this is received.
I have read Wellington Shire Council’s Funding Guidelines and Criteria for Australia Day Celebration Events (attached above) and attached a copy of the Liability insurance for the event. * (required)
